AI now lets finance do more than report the past. Badger 6 turns your numbers into forward-looking insight, tighter controls, and better decisions — the finance function of a much bigger company, at any size, for a fraction of the cost.
Real financial insight — FP&A, controls, a partner who turns numbers into decisions — has always meant hiring a team most companies can't justify. That's just how finance worked. AI changed that. The same outcomes now cost a fraction, arrive faster, and free your people to act on the numbers instead of assembling them. Badger 6 is built entirely around that shift — at every size.
You no longer need a controller, an FP&A hire, and a CFO to run finance like a company ten times your size. AI does the assembly; you get the insight, board-ready reporting, and forward judgment — at a fraction of the old cost and complexity.
Hand off finance end to end and get more than an in-house team delivered. An AI-native close, reporting, and controls run the function faster and cleaner — so your people spend their time on decisions, not on assembling the numbers.
No rip-and-replace. We layer AI intelligence on top of your legacy ERP — insights, controls, and process efficiencies drawn from the data you already own — turning monthly reports into a real business partnership with the operation.
Finance as a business partner, not a scorekeeper. The goal of every engagement is the same — move finance from reporting what happened to shaping what happens next. AI is what finally makes that affordable at any size.
Two monthly engagements, one philosophy — AI-native finance that delivers more value, faster, for less. Start where your company is: add judgment on top of the books you keep, or outsource the whole function. Fixed pricing, not billable hours. If you already have a finance team and want AI layered onto the ERP you run, that’s project work — it’s below.
Keep your bookkeeper. I layer on FP&A, board-ready reporting, and forward judgment — with AI doing the heavy lifting — so you get big-company finance insight at a fraction of a CFO's cost.
Hand off the entire function — bookkeeping through close through board-ready reporting — run on our proprietary AI-native platform for more value than your in-house processes delivered. One flat fee.
Monthly engagements are month-to-month · Fixed pricing, no billable hours
The engagements above are for running finance month after month. Sometimes that isn’t what you need — something happened, or something needs building, and either way it has a beginning and an end. Those are scoped as projects, priced as a fixed fee, and staffed by me.
Suspected fraud, a partner dispute, an insurance claim, or books that stopped making sense two years ago. I rebuild the transaction history from source, document what the evidence supports — and, just as importantly, what it doesn’t — and produce something that stands up to a lawyer, an auditor, or a judge.
Raising a round, planning a hire, or testing whether the unit economics actually work. You get a model an investor can pull apart without it falling over — assumptions visible and separated from the math, scenarios that move together, and the version of the story the numbers genuinely support.
A business being separated from its parent loses the systems and the back office on close. I build the standalone finance function before that happens — opening balances, a chart of accounts that fits the new entity, close process, reporting the sponsor expects — so the first month post-close is a normal month.
You are not replacing a system that works, and you shouldn’t have to. I build on top of the data you already have — insights, controls and process efficiencies that link operations to finance and turn a monthly report into an actual decision. No rip-and-replace, and nothing that stops at a slide.
Scoped and quoted before we start. Same principle as the engagements: a fixed fee against a defined outcome, not an hourly meter. If the work turns out to be a different shape than we thought, we re-scope it in the open rather than letting an invoice tell you afterward. Timeline depends on the work, and I’ll tell you what it looks like before you commit to it.
For fifteen years I led finance — auditing at a Big 4 accounting firm, owning accounting policy for a $10B segment at a Fortune 100 public company, and building finance from zero at start-ups and growing companies. The whole time, I watched good businesses overpay for basic financial insight, because real FP&A, controls, and a finance partner meant hiring a whole team.
AI changed that. I built Badger 6 to bring big-company finance outcomes to companies of any size, built on automation powered by experienced finance operators and AI. Not reports about last month; a finance function that helps you decide what happens next.
